The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, October 27 reveals Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will let her guard down with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will come up with a plan. Plus, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will defend Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). And Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will make an admission.
Y&R spoilers tease Nate will arrive at the ranch and ask Victor if everything is all right. He’ll tell Victor the call sounded ominous. Victor will play dumb and have a confused look on his face. He’ll say his children are accusing him of losing his marbles. “Has Victoria told you anything about this?” he’ll ask. So, Nate will tell him he and Victoria confide in each other and she’s shared concerns, but they come from a place of love.

“I have to tell you something in confidence, no one must know,” Victor will confide. “I really am beginning to feel my grasp at reality is slipping away.” But Nate will tell him not to diagnose himself. “You need to see a medical professional,” he’ll advise. “There very well might be treatments that could turn this thing around.” Victor will tell Nate not to say a word to anyone. “Because if there’s even the slightest hint that I’m losing my marbles, it’d be devastating to my company.”
Meanwhile, Sally will dream that Nick and Adam are fighting over her. In the dream sequence, Nick will tell her she’s the only one who can stop their fight. “You choose right now, me or him!” he’ll shout. “I don’t know,” Sally will say, as she wakes up. Then she’ll have flashbacks of her and Nick, as if the scenes weren’t boring enough when they first aired.
At Society, Victoria will be shocked that her father has been faking it the whole time. “It’s all one big trap Vic,” Nick will say. Victoria will ask her brother how he found out. “I see, so you’re the only one in the family that he trusts,” Victoria will say. But Nick will tell her about the doodle Adam found in Victor’s desk. “It was meant for me, he wanted me to figure this out.”
“So I was right, you are the only one that he trusts,” a put-out Victoria will reply. But Nick will add their mom wanted her to know too. “How long has she been in on this?” Victoria will ask. Nick will say he doesn’t know, but keeping the secret has been eating away at her. “I don’t know if dad isn’t wrong,” Nick will say, adding that maybe there is a threat. “Maybe he has reason to be concerned, we should give him the chance. Maybe Adam just weasels his way into his trap.” But Victoria will be torn and she’ll ask if Nate’s on their father’s list of possible traitors.

However, she’ll ask Nick not to tell Victor that she knows, so they can both lead Adam into their father’s trap. But Nick isn’t sure the plan will work on him. “He actually seems as worried about dad as we are.” But Victoria hopes it’ll get rid of Adam once and for all. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will arrive and Nick will tell her his plan. “We act like we’re buying dad’s condition while dad sets his trap and hopefully Adam steps right into it,” he’ll say. “Or Nate,” Nikki will add. But Victoria will take offense and say Adam is the real danger.
At the Jazz Club, Adam will meet with Dr. Skelton (Stefan Marks). He’ll say he needs his advice because his father is exhibiting signs of dementia and he’s looking for some guidance. So, Adam will give the doctor a synopsis of what’s been going on. Dr. Skelton will say it’s difficult to differentiate between dementia and just the signs of aging without tests. And he’ll warn him that if it goes undiagnosed, Victor’s condition could decline.
After the doctor leaves, Sally will walk down the stairs. She’ll spot Adam and start to leave, but he’ll call her. She’ll tell him it was a mistake coming down there and when she leaves, he’ll follow. At her door, she’ll ask if he’s okay and he’ll say he’s worried sick about Victor, and there’s nothing he can do to help. Sally will embrace him again. The hug will lead to a kiss and they’ll end up in her hotel room. Then Sally and Adam will make love. But will it lead to a reunion?
